Since early childhood, Sarah has studied Harp to become one of Texas’ premiere Harpists, performing professionally for over seven years for recitals, session work, concerts, weddings and events. • Our ATXM BRIDGE builds bridges between musicians and venues, nonprofit partners, city staff and corporate interests in order to cultivate communication, understanding and support.

Board of Directors

Nakia Reynoso, Sonya Jevette, Pat Buchta

Founders

In 2008, just before competing in the first season of “The Voice”, Nakia Reynoso created a private Facebook group where Austin musicians could share resources, information and opportunities. As membership grew, so did the need for advocacy, and in 2019, Nakia gathered a small group of working musicians to formalize next steps. Out of this effort, Austin Texas Musicians nonprofit was born, with Nakia, Sonya and Pat serving as our Founding Board of Directors.
